Today, high of 38, mostly sunny, with a very slight chance of rain this afternoon, but probably not. Now, let's discuss yesterday, shall we? The weatherguessers kept revising our accumulation amounts from 8-10" to 6-12", down to 4-8" and back up to 8-14". We were getting whiplash from watching the weather forecasts in the morning. Looking out the window, we'd still see that incredibly fine light snow that had started early in the morning, just making the roads wet and barely laying on the unpaved surfaces. And guess what we ended up with? That same slight dusting on the unpaved surfaces and hardly any traffic out front on the just-wet highway because businesses were closed and schools were out! I'll bet there wasn't even a half inch of snow out there. On the other hand, a small town on the eastern end of our county won the snowfall event with 10.5 inches.

This is "National Proofreading Day", dedicated to a subject that really gripes my butt. Don't people check what they're typing before they hit "Send"? Does no one know how to spell anymore? :dunno:

ETA: And we never got that THUNDERSNOW here! :?
