If they are not able to win their legal fight against a $7 MILLION property tax bill, can they survive? With the extra large crowds at the USGP and other events. With people spending close to $2,000 each in Austin and Travis County during these events. Is the county cutting off it's nose to site their face. A $50 per ticket surcharge will have to added in order to cover the tax bill. After the newness wears off and the USGP crowds begin to drop(as it did at Indy), can the facility keep it's head above water if they cannot get relief from a $7 MILLION property tax bill? Especially if uncle Bernie gets his wish and adds a second USGP event each year.

I guess some politicians would rather kill the goose that lays the golden egg. Short term gain and long term loss.
